CallTrack
CallTrack is one of those HTC Evo apps that you wouldn’t have imagined needing until you start using it. CallTrack simply logs your call onto your Google Calendar. You can set it to log incoming, outgoing, and/or missed calls. It’ll automagically create a new event on your Google Calendar and log all the call details. You can either create a separate calendar for it to work with or have it log calls on an existing calendar.
You’d be surprised at how many ways this can turn out be useful. First, since the log captures how long each call took, you can measure one dimension of your productivity with this setup. Second, if you’re in the practice of billing clients based on services provided, what better way to collect this information for your invoice? Third, since you can capture missed calls, you can allocate time and meetings specifically to take care of any missed issues or problems that came up. These are just a few ways this simple app can completely change the way you look at your workflow around phone calls.
