It works wonderfully well for the current 2010 world cup as well as for generic soccer news and features. The app comes with high-quality photos, interviews, and live commentary. The live scores features is invaluable, and live breaking news go with these very well. It can lag behind a little bit at times, but works very well in most instances. It tracks live scores for multiple ongoing matches, so you don’t have to worry about missing your favorite league or local matches while you’re watching an international game.
The interface is colorful and interactive. The News sections are easy to read, with flowing crisp text. The density of information can be a little high while viewing statistics, but this is no problem with the Evo’s large screen. As mentioned before, there can be a bit of a lag with the “live” scores, but it varies and is close enough to be practically unnoticeable.
