SportsTap is a full-blown sports portal on your Evo smartphone. It pulls together statistics and news from a large variety of sources across an astonishing range of sports. Sports include: MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA, Football, Basketball, Golf, Tennis, … the list goes on and on. SportsTap also comes with a live widget that you can install on your Evo’s homescreen to see live updates without needing to bring up the app itself.
Statistics can lag a little at times, so don’t expect perfectly “live” updates all the time, but it works well most of the time. Another excellent feature is the ability to follow local teams based on your location. SportsTapp will automatically pull up your local times and let you select specific ones for in-depth following.
