Orkut for Android
Released recently by Google themselves, this is the official app for the popular social networking website Orkut. This Evo app brings some interesting features to your Android smartphone: live folders with your contacts, single click messaging, direct photo uploads, and more. It is trivial to upload photos to your Orkut album from your Evo’s Photo Gallery. Similarly, scrap notifications, status changes, and other Orkut related messages are exposed seamlessly on the Orkut app for the HTC Evo.
Scrap notifications are fully integrated with your Evo’s notification bar, so you’ll see them stack up just like regular device notifications. Orkut is mostly popular outside the US, but if you do have an active account, this Evo app will help you make full use of it.
