Google Sky Map
This is one of the more novel HTC Evo apps out there at present. Google Sky Map acts as a miniature planetarium, allowing you to point your Evo’s camera at various parts of the night sky and see an overlay of constellation, stars, and other heavenly bodies on your Evo’s screen. This Evo app takes into account your location, time of the day and year, as well as compass information to bring you accurate information about the night sky.
Sky Map is a fun and educational app that can come in very handy to keep younger children occupied. With the Evo’s powerful processor, the app works very well and you shouldn’t notice any stuttering or lags as you scan your phone across the night sky. An excellent reference app for the HTC Evo that happens to be very entertaining as well.
