The app isn’t cheap, setting you back $9.99, but it is comprehensive, authoritative, and covers most major metropolitan cities in the US. The app comes with reviews, ratings, and recommendations from culinary experts. The famed Zagat ratings have been known to make or break restaurants, and if you’ve been using their hardcopy booklets and guides, this Android app is a must-have.
The app covers restaurants, shopping boutiques, hotels, as well as pubs and clubs. Each entry comes with the Zagat rating, address, directions, map, and classification of the type of establishment. The app uses your HTC Evo’s built-in GPS to figure out places of interest close to you at any given time. Many entries also show the hours of operation and photos of the establishment if available.
