ActionComplete – Evo Apps
ActionComplete for the Evo and Android is a powerful productivity app inspired by the GTD system. If you’re a fan of GTD and find yourself continuing to use it after the initial excitement, this is the perfect app for you. Projects can be setup with tags, people, and location. Your HTC Evo’s GPS works perfectly in filtering tasks on ActionComplete based on location. The standard GTD folders of “Action”, “Pending”, and “Projects” are present. The app is easy-to-use for both GTD power-users as well as relatively new users of the GTD system.
It is flexible enough to work with any variations of GTD that you might have settled on after a few months of use. The few drawbacks for ActionComplete include the absence of a widget and an inability to sync with Google’s Gmail or Calendar. The interface exposes a lot of options and buttons and can appear a little cluttered. The bottom toolbar is squashed with six or more buttons at times, which can lead to accidental presses. However, these are minor quibbles that are easily overcome with a little practice. After all, ActionComplete isn’t just a simple to-do list app – it offers much more, and is completely free.
