With several free online ePub convertors that convert from PDF and other formats directly to ePub, you won’t have to worry about formats – if you have an ebook, you can read it on your HTC Evo through the Aldiko Book Reader. Importing is very simple and the catalog and bookshelf are a pleasure to browse and interact with.
The interface is very well-designed and the bookshelf metaphor works well. A lot of attention has been paid to the reading experience itself and this Evo app lets you customize your reading experience by changing the font type, margins, colors, and night mode aspects of each ebook. The text looks awesome on the Evo’s screen with crisp, bold text standing out clearly even in daylight. Each ebooks comes with a table of contents that lets you skip ahead to the sections you like (useful in reference ebooks), and the app will also remember your spot on every ebook you are currently reading. Overall, Aldiko for the HTC Evo is a fast, fully-featured, and very polished ebook reader that lets you take all your reading on the go.
