doubleTwist
The new doubleTwist media player for the HTC Evo and Android is a powerful and beautifully designed music player and organizer. It integrates perfectly with the free desktop client (available for both Macs and PCs) and also lets you import all your iTunes meta data, including ratings and playlists. In addition to music, you can sync podcasts and videos as well. The rest of the functionality is everything you’re used to in a mobile music player – doubleTwist covers all the bases, and you can meet all your media needs via this app.
The interface is a pleasure to use and is visually one of the best-designed Android apps out there today. A lot of attention to detail and high-quality iconography in this HTC Evo app lets you immerse yourself in your music in a way the default Android music player never could. Subtle aspects of the interface such remembering spots in podcasts and easy one-tap access to most player controls let you enjoy your media without needing to fiddle around with the app. Many new features are planned, including a widget. This top-notch app is currently free, but that will likely change soon and the app will still remain a worthy download.
