Moov
Moov for the HTC Evo and Android is a novel interface that helps you quickly access a vast amount of information with only a few taps. This is one of those Evo apps that you’ll either love or hate with a passion. If you have a lot of apps, contacts, and bookmarks on your Evo, you may find Moov to be a lifesaver. On the other hand, if you have only a few select apps and contacts that you use often, you may not even see the point of this app. Moov acts as an intelligent launcher that pulls up apps, contacts, and anything else on your Evo as you type in the Moov box. Often just two to three letters is enough to pull up the right app.
Moov also learns about your favorite and most frequently used apps and contacts, so it gets much better at presenting just the right app when you need it. This Evo app also interfaces with Google, Facebook, Wikipedia, 411, your Netflix queue and other options and quickly presents information from these sources based on your query. Some users have found it to be a little slow, but there really isn’t another comparable app that does the breadth of things that Moov handles. Google Gestures can handle apps, contacts, and other stuff on your Evo, but it can’t quite easily hand’e Wikipedia and Facebook queries can it?
